Phase 03-03-07, 09:36 PM	When counterspelling with dispell magic, what exactly do I have to do with the checks? What I gathered was: Identify - 15 + Spell level = Spellcraft DC Counterspell - 15 + Spell level = Dispell Check?
runestar 03-04-07, 01:04 AM	You don't have identify a spell to counter it, though it is usually a good idea to at least know what spell you are going to counterspell first before deciding if you will make the attempt. Nothing sucks more than realising that the wizard just faked you out by casting a cantrip or something...:P You basically make an opposed caster lv checj against the spellcaster whose spell you are trying to counterspell.
