The Legendary Two Sandals 01-20-05, 01:17 PM	making a dive attack is a specail attack open to creaters that fly. Any flying creature can do it even if you don't have wings. When making a dive attack you are using gravity to assist your attack, so it is like a controlled fall, there are feats to improve your ariel fighting capabilities. Most can be found in the Monster Manual and there are some specail ones in the Savage Species. The concept behind the dive attack is to create something akin to a charge for flying creatures.
banbarian 01-30-05, 08:07 PM	as a wild shaped hawk, i saw a party member in need of a cure. i considered dive attacking him for the touch as i was too far away to move and cast. lucky for him he got out of it. never got to "try" my theory.
