when using divine might and scoring a critical hit, does the extra damage from the holy damage get added twice?
Both the player and the gm (me) in my game assume yes from reading the books, but we both think it seems a bit overpowered, so we question it every time it happens anyways.

yes, straight bonuses that are added to your die roll are multiplied by a critical hit.

as to it being over powered... I do not see it as being any more over powered then having the extra damage from power attack multiplied on a critical hit.

Agreed. The general rule is that damage bonuses get multiplied, but extra damage dice do not.

Common sources of damage bonuses: Str bonus, enhancement bonus, Power Attack damage bonus, Divine Might.

Common sources of extra damage dice: sneak attack, Flaming/Frost/Shocking/Holy weapons, Divine Sacrifice spell.
