| Dragonan04-30-06, 05:27 PM | Hi I'm currently running a campaign in FR and the group is fairly high level. The group consist of the following: 1. Human Cleric of Bane level 13 2. Human Wizard level 12 3. Human Monk level 12 4. Mountain Orc Barbarian level 12 (str 24) They have a lot of magical item (the wizard even have a staff of power and a robe of the archmagic, just to let you know what kind of equipment they have). As you can see the group is Evil and have done a lot of bad things and will soon run into a Druide, and after reading and planing the druide I have gotten a little worried that a Druide of 15th levels will be to much for the group. The druide have 97 Hit points without constitution bonus but if I use "wild shape" with some spells I can easly get my druide up to +220 HP a long with an animal companion(AN) (will be using Dire bear for both the wild shape and the AN). On top of that I will prepare the area so that I can open with a "Lion's Charge" and have a "Liveoak" ready in the area (and a lot more)... The plan is the druide will confront them and try to make the turn back, they will ofcourse refuse and he will flee and then prepare for the upcomming combat, he will watch them in a couple of fights so he knows the spells they usual and how the do combat in generally. I will also try to let the group know that they are being follow so they have a chance of preparing spells in advance that can help them in the battle. Is a 15th level druide with a prepare battle field to much for a group of that size or is I just to worried??? |
