Do all magic items require XP to make? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-02-07, 06:47 PM It says in the DMG that magic items require (Gold Piece costdivided by 25) XP to make. Elsewhere (in this case the section on making Wondrous Items) it says they don't. Which paragraph is right?

There isn't any place where it says it does not cost XP to make/craft magic items.
