Boots of striding and springing (DM pg250)
These boots increase the wearer's base land speed by 10 feet. ...

Fell Flight (CA pg134)
... You can fly at a speed equal to your land speed with good maneuverability for 24 hours.

Since fell flight says "equal to your land speed" mentioning no exclusive conditions, I take it that the boots of striding and springing would modify the fly speed of fell flight as well.

Agree? Disagree?

Agree. Fell flight mentions only your land speed, and with boots of striding and springing your land speed is increased. If you played the odd (and impossible) combination of a barbarian/monk/warlock your fell flight speed would be similarly increased.

Not impossible, the guy who was a barbarian becomes a monk and for some reason, possibly when he discovers his abilities, has a schism with his monkly code and goes back to his chaotic ways. Mind you, it would take some serious roleplaying over a campaign that spanned at least 10 years, but it's possible.

True. I didn't check the class entries earlier, but I thought that ex-barbarians/ex-monks lost a number of class features, not just the barb's rage.

The only quibble that I can see is that the spells Longstrider (which is required to make Boots of Striding and Springing) and Expeditious Retreat both state that they have "no effect on other modes of movement, such as burrow, climb, fly, or swim."

That said, I do think that those spells (and items made using those spells) would increase a Warlock's speed while using Fell Flight as well, since that invocation specifically references the Warlock's land speed, rather than giving him a set flight speed.

No, since the fly speed is based on your "base" land speed.

Actually, the invocation description for Fell Flight says "equal to your land speed". The invocation, Swimming the Styx, from Complete Mage says "equal to your base land speed", so you might be able to make a case for that one, but not Fell Flight.
