Xa Roth 02-27-07, 01:09 AM	Hey all, I know my next statemtn may annoy or step on some people's toes but; I'm using one of the "Unknown" sections from the world map in the FRCS for an adventure I'm DMing later this year. The "continent" will be roughly split in half - half been ruled by a democratic (roughly) league of goodly races ranging from halflings to dragons. The other half will be evil orientated that is ruled by a colossal red that is a throwback to the days when dragons ruled Faerun (and I presume much of Toril). This dragon is (sort of) a mortal consort of Tiamat and a high level cleric devoted to his God's worship. As such, he was personally granted partial immunity to the dragon rage that destroyed much of his kind's rule over Faerun. His ambition and power are kept in check by the other noble dragon Houses of his own nation and that of the goodly nation that rule the other half of the continent. All of this is just side plot though ... my question has to do with 1/4 breed dragons. I've got stat's for Genasai, Aasimir and Tieflings ... but I couldn't find any for 1/4 dragons. I presume they're in one of the couple of dragon orientated books that has come out recently and I was wondering which one they're in? I've already made up some 1/4 dragons myself which I named collectively as Dracana (I've only done the Chromatics so far) ... but I thought I'd better see if someone had already done all the hard work before I started on the Metallics. Sorry guys .. I know that was a llot of wind to ask a reasonably simple question. I just wanted to explain what was behind it.:)
Mad Mage 02-27-07, 01:31 AM	My suggestion is to use the Draconic template from Draconomicon. Consider that what planetouched are to Half-Celestials/Fiends/other alignment-based planar half-breed template/creature.

It's a quarter-breed, at the most, or - like some aasimar or tieflings - could be a few generations removed and have the traits come up. The Half-Dragon template (Monster Manual) is the half-breed.

Kurama Youko 03-01-07, 06:27 PM	The Draconic Creature template pretty much makes any base race 1/4 dragon, its a LA+1 Also some draconic races could be considered 1/4 dragon, my suggestion is to get a copy or Dragon Magic to see a few fine examples. Such as the Silverbrow humans.
