Anyone know of a good set of stats for a Quickling in 3.5 (either Playable or as Monster). Thanks!

I believe Green Giant has one available somewhere on the boards. I've actually played a CN Quickling and I must admit, it was one of the coolest, most bad arse PC's I've ever had. He's level 25 now and so I have him as a NPC only in our campaign.

Ok. PMing him. Thanks!

There was a good quickling conversation in the Realms Bestiary 2 by Thomas M. Costa and Eric L. Boyd. I think it's downloadable at their Web site.

Wow!

Now that is a scary conversion, lol. A +9 LA creature eh?

The enworld listed (http://www.enworld.org/cc/converted/fey/quickling.htm) one seems more reasonable to me, IMHO of course, while the Realms Bestiary 2 version looks more like a D&D equivalent to Flash!

I'd modify them from what enworld has listed as well though and make them much less powerful. Their flavor was really a very "speedy" fey and many of the other details on them don't convert well or could easily be considered a "gear" option. The free feats most conversions grant them aren't really what they were written with and don't suit the flavor of the original. The "feel" of the original seemed to me to be more of a small gang of thieves or malevolent fey running by and through a group of PCs slashing, stealing, tripping, etc. as they ran through. NOT running up, attacking and running away. NOT sitting in the midst of a group of PC's jumping around like a huge flea. NOT casting a bunch of spells. They did have full invisibility I believe but the flavor of full concealment while running seems more suitable and since the mechanic for concealment didn't exist back then using it for 3.5 works well.

QUICKLING
Small Fey
Hit Dice: 1d6 (3 hp)
Initiative: +8 (Dex)
Speed: 240 ft
AC: 19 (+1 size, +8 Dex)
Attacks: Dagger +9 melee
Damage: Dagger 1d4-1
Face/Reach: 5 ft by 5 ft/5 ft
Special Attacks: Spell-like abilities
Special Qualities: Speed Concealment, Runby Attack, Low-light Vision
Saves: Fort +0, Ref +10, Will +4
Abilities: Str 8, Dex 18, Con 11, Int 10, Wis 11, Cha 12
Skills: Bluff, Craft (any one), Escape Artist, Hide, Jump, Listen, Move Silently, Spot, Survival, Tumble
Feats: Run, Weapon Finesse
Climate/Terrain: Temperate forest
Organization: Gang (2-4) or band (6-11)
Challenge Rating: 3
Treasure: No coins; 50% goods; 50% items
Alignment: Usually chaotic evil
Advancement: 2-3 HD (Small)

Spell-Like Abilities: 1/day—dancing lights, daze, levitate, shatter, and ventriloquism. These abilities are as the spells cast by a 6th-level sorcerer (save DC 12 + spell level).

Speed Concealment (ex): Due to it's incredible speed a running quickling has full concealment. This concealment is a side effect of it's great speed and due to this it is not affected by any ability regardless of type or definitions that would typically negate a quicklings concealment.

Runby Attack (ex): When running, a quickling can take a move action and another standard action at any point during the move. The quickling cannot take a second move action during a round when it makes a runby attack.

Skills: Quicklings receive a +8 racial bonus to Hide checks when running but receive a -4 to Move silently checks while running as well. Quicklings use their Dexterity modifier for both Climb and Jump checks.

Feats: Quicklings gain the Run and Weapon Finesse feats as racial bonus feats.

Edit: I'd likely tweak their spell like abilities just a bit as well. *shrug*

All IMHO of course!

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the one from EM World is 3.0, not 3.5.
Just look at it before useing, may need a little tinkering.
