| Zacharia05-19-07, 02:55 PM | Is it possible for an elf and a being from the plane of air to produce an offspring, much like human parings with beings of elemental planes can produce Genasi :D thank you in advance to those whom can answer this question :) |
| Another Gnome05-19-07, 06:24 PM | There is a [3.0] half-elemental template in Manual of the Planes. Note however, that genasi and other planetouched are at most "quarter-breeds" and often even further removed from their planar ancestors. |
| GothicDan05-19-07, 06:46 PM | It'd be a Half Air Elemental, with the Template from the Monster Manual. |
| Alediran05-19-07, 07:35 PM | That's what Alediran will be with 7 more levels of Air Elemental Savant :D |
| Another Gnome05-19-07, 07:51 PM | Which MM is the template in? I only found a reference to MoP... :( |
| GothicDan05-19-07, 09:23 PM | I thought the Half-Elemental template was in the core Monster Manual... |
| Lord Karsus05-19-07, 11:28 PM | I thought the Half-Elemental template was in the core Monster Manual... -No, that only has: Celestial Fiendish Ghost Lich Vampire |
| GothicDan05-20-07, 12:03 AM | Iiiinteresting. I'm making things up in my head. I really could have sworn there was a Half-Elemental Template in it. Meh. |
| Zacharia05-21-07, 02:42 PM | So I guessssss this makes it a Air Genasi either way then? |
| Alediran05-21-07, 02:56 PM | IIRC the Half-Elemental template was on Planar Handbook or Manual of the Planes. |
| Borris05-21-07, 04:27 PM | The half-air elemental template can be found in the Manual of the Planes, on page 189. It has a level adjustment of +3. |
| ClobberinTime05-22-07, 05:21 PM | Or you can download one of the free wizards adventures which has the template in it, I belive it is Thicker than Water. |
| Zacharia05-23-07, 06:35 PM | Well thank you all for the help :D |
| MerrikCale05-24-07, 10:59 PM | Air elemental + sun elf = GothicDan |
| GothicDan05-24-07, 11:06 PM | Naw. Celestial (Archon) + Sun Elf = Gothic Dan Or Modron + Sun Elf = Axiomatic Template Sun Elf = Gothic Dan |
| jamesnero05-26-07, 04:51 PM | GothicDan Naw. Celestial (Archon) + Sun Elf = Gothic Dan Or Modron + Sun Elf = Axiomatic Template Sun Elf = Gothic Dan 05-24-07 10:59 PM So Dan is a superintelligent toaster oven??? |
| GothicDan05-26-07, 05:54 PM | Sounds about right. I can both cook and do amazingly intelligent things. |
| MerrikCale05-26-07, 11:08 PM | Sounds about right. I can both cook and do amazingly intelligent things. you can cook? |
| GothicDan05-26-07, 11:27 PM | Yes. I love cooking. One of my favorite things is chicken teriyaki from scratch. And I love making lasagna, and cheddar chilli turkey burgers, and turkey tacos, and... Well, almost anything. I'm also not bad at baking. Every Christmas me and my sister help my aunt make thousands of cookies for the family. Cooking is fun! |
| Lord Karsus05-26-07, 11:47 PM | -Cook for me. I could use the nutrition. |
| GothicDan05-26-07, 11:57 PM | You better give me something in return. |
| Lord Karsus05-27-07, 12:23 AM | -A blessing on your head, mazel tov, mazel tov. To see a daughter wed, mazel tov, mazel tov. And such a son-in-law, like no-one ever saw; The tailor Motel Camzoil. -Can I have some food now? :( |
| GothicDan05-27-07, 12:32 AM | I don't know, but here's some apple sauce. |
| Lord Karsus05-27-07, 12:36 AM | -Good enough. |
| GothicDan05-27-07, 12:40 AM | I'm going to post in the Rec-Room, LK. You better say hello! |
| Lord Karsus05-27-07, 12:46 AM | -Of course I will. It's a rough and tough place, but I've got your back. |
| GothicDan05-27-07, 12:49 AM | Tyvm, Mr. Mad Godling Sir. |
| Lord Karsus05-27-07, 12:58 AM | -It took me a few seconds to decipher that and figure out what the hell you were saying. |
| GothicDan05-27-07, 01:02 AM | I did it on purpose. Me and my not-quite-SO like to talk like that on AIM (in a deprecating way) for hours. Randomly, in between actual intelligent prose. |
| Lord Karsus05-27-07, 01:04 AM | -To make the most sense of that, I'd first need to know what a SO is. |
| GothicDan05-27-07, 01:07 AM | Significant Other. You failed your Skill check. |
| Lord Karsus05-27-07, 06:00 PM | -No, I just speak in complete English. That's all. |
| GothicDan05-27-07, 06:57 PM | English makes use of acronyms. |
| Lord Karsus05-28-07, 06:29 PM | -Officially recognized acronyms, of which 'SO' is Strike Out. |
| GothicDan05-28-07, 06:32 PM | Where is a list of 'officially' recongized acronyms? |
| Lord Karsus05-28-07, 06:38 PM | -The Scrabble Dictionary. Note that SO, Strike Out, isn't a dictionary-recognized acronym. It is a MLB-recognized arconym, however. |
| GothicDan05-28-07, 06:40 PM | I have nothing left to say to you about this. You're referencing Scrabble and Baseball for authorities on acronyms? I've seen SO referenced for 'Significant Other' for years. You're dumb!!11one |
| Lord Karsus05-28-07, 06:46 PM | -Scrabble and Baseball are two of the best things on this good Earth. |
| GothicDan05-28-07, 06:49 PM | Upwards is better, and all sports are stupid. Except for making jocks to oogle. Or if you're engaging in them to better something about yourself which I consider to be meaningful. That's right, -I.- ;) |
| Drizztrocks05-28-07, 07:31 PM | well, if you want to go strait with the rules, i'd say itd just make an air genasi. But id look into the forgotten realms world: why would a sun elf mate with a air elemental? they have completely different persanalities. And does a sun elves reproductive system and an air elementals work the same? :) |
| GothicDan05-28-07, 07:32 PM | Magic. |
| Lord Karsus05-28-07, 08:52 PM | why would a sun elf mate with a air elemental? -Maybe they fell in love with each other. Opposites attract. |
