Almighty armor question!!!!!!!!!!! [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-01-07, 10:42 PM I have been pondering this question for a long, long, long, long, long time. :confused: What is the best armor a Shadovar Assassin/Rogue can have? There are thousands of answers but I can't remember a single one:ton: . I think there should be an almighty armor for the classes but there would be a lot of drawbacks like everyone would own them even if they didn't actually buy them. They could just fake their way to a really high level like 50 but they would not understand their characters strengths and weaknesses like you would if you actually used your guy a lot. Please post a reply and give your opinion, thanks. -Shade

05-03-07, 01:10 PM Stealth is an assins best armor. They cannot strike you if they do not know yu are there. Be as the wind that stirrs the grass and goes unheeded. :hides:

My $0.02: Mithril chainshirt or mithril breastplate, depending upon just how high your Dex is. If you're focusing on being super sneaky, you can get the armor glammered with silent and shadow abilities.

If your Dex is high, and the sneakiness factor is critical, I'd opt for the chainshirt over the breastplate. As an added bonus, the stuff is so unobtrusive that you could easily wear it while you sleep with no penalty, and wear it under your clothing and most would never know it.

Funny that you say that. In the campaign I'm currently running, I offered the party's psychic warrior a +2 bluff bonus (on intimidation checks) if he wore nothing but a cod-piece & a cape.

Needless to say, he took the offer.

Funny that you mention Elans. In the last game that I was a player in, I ran an elan psion. Totally awesome.

However, I've been curious for any further details on elans... especially elans in the realms. Sort of an off-topic question.. but anyone know anything off the top of their heads?
