Did this beast ever save or doom your life? Can a cooshie pub be trained by non elves? Non-elves have it more difficult to train cooshies as elves or half-elves have. At least that's what I remember from Races of the Wild. If you don't like it that version, I think Tom Costa has another one in the Bestiary of The Realms, in Eric L. Boyd's site (don't remember if volume I or II).

What's a whoopie btw? A small vesion of the normal greyhound sized cooshie, I guess. So cooshies have several underbreeds perhaps. A puppy cooshie to all you, Suin
