I am working on adapting the Planar Shepard PRC from faiths of Eberron for use is an FR campaign.

So far my thoughts are thus. I am Keeping the requirements, including Greensinger Initiate, the feat works just fine in FR flavor considering the strong ties to the fey inherent in the realms so It stays.

Manifest zones however are not a Fearunian thing so maybe alternate features at those levels.

Detect Manifest Zone, Intensify manifest zone and the planar bubble abilities I am looking to replace with more FR appropriate but still fitting abilities. So I am calling out for suggestions.

I was thinking fo just going fast and loose, adding fey and Giant as available forms and giving a couple bonus wild feats or normal druid wildshaping progression as well dunno. Ideas?

You should be concerned about nerfing the class first. If you can come up with a way, then you can think about transferring it to the Realms.

Thats not a particular concern really. Different people play different power levels of campaigns. I like the class and the basic abilities. I am removing the planar bubble and manifest zone stuff and making it more about the planar wildshaping. It fits ok in our campaign, maybe a little strong but we are a close group of friends who have been gaming together now for 10 years, I think they trust me not to abuse it.

In any case I am more interested in replacing the powers with things more fitting to the flavor of Fearun, meshing with a FR storyline and what not.

Ditching the Planar Bubble and Manifest Zones abilities should make it just about balanced for a cheesy campaign, and would make it fit the Realms about like the old stair stepping Dual-Class progression of Elminster. I honestly don't see a need to replace those abilities with, well, anything.

The planar wildshaping is the main problem. You can wildshape into a djinn and grant your buddies three wishes a day. That's far from balanced.

Only if your plane chosen is air, alot of people just assume you can become any outsider you want, but in fact you have to pick a plane. I am choosing Arvandor for this guy or the Olympian Glades were Arvandor is located. So any outsiders I have available are Eledrin and while useful are not game breaking. In fact planr manifest and bubble would have no effect since the plane is basically prime neutral and has no special effects or magic traits. I guess there is no constructive info to eb found here, the general opinion being its powerful therefore bad. Oh well. Thanks anyway
