Red_Wizards_Rock 01-01-08, 04:15 AM	In the forgotten realms campaign setting book on page 289 it talks briefly about (Epic lvls). The understanding I'm getting is you can choose to not take a class lvl, but choose to take either +1 effective Level, +1 to an ability score, +1 attack bonus or +1 bonus spell level. Although they will not gain extra HD or HP or saves. I'm sure I'm not understanding this right. Thx for any help anyone could give.

I think that in a nutshell that is correct, but for detailed info I'd consult "Epic Level Handbook"

andinel 01-01-08, 08:29 PM	Keep in mind that those Epic-level rules came out before the Epic Level Handbook, and were replaced upon said handbook's release. What you want are the epic rules in the SRD, linked by the poster above me.

Eldritch_Lord 01-02-08, 08:49 PM	Yep. The FR Epic rules are overruled by the Epic Level Handbook, and it even says so in the "Iconic FR NPCs" section in the back of the ELH.
