According to the Forgotten Realms, Races of Faerun under Shades p.147-149 it lists "[bullet] Level Adjustment +4. Shades are more powerfull and gain levels more slowly than the common races of Faerun..." Then in Abilities and Racial Features it says "In well-lit surroundings (daylight or the radius of a daylight spell) none of these powers function." Does that mean a shade character would gain 4 levels of what ever class they are AND lose all of the shadow abilities in light? or was listing the level adjustment as a power just a typo or something? |

| Drew1369r05-30-07, 03:28 PM | Yeah because you still have the powers... they dont function in daylight |
