| Ramar Aulinvox06-12-07, 10:09 PM | Does anyone know if the electrum dragons from Ruins of Myth Drannor have been updated? |
| NemesisDragon06-13-07, 11:20 PM | No they have not. A few others and myself are trying to convince some folks to get it updated as we speak. The best thing you may find for now is a fan conversion and in that case, i would check enworld's creature catalog, they have lots of old conversions and they are very good. I'm glad to see yet another who would like to see the Electrum, cheers on that note! :D |
| The Ubbergeek06-15-07, 10:14 PM | ... Electrum dragons? |
| NemesisDragon06-16-07, 12:23 AM | Yes, Electrum Dragons. It tis believed they were formed around 709-711 during the fall of myth drannor. 8 gold and 8 silver dragons were merged together during a wild magic surge which created 8 UNIQUE Electrum Dragons. Some sages say these are the progenators of the Electrum Dragons, however they may not be. The Electrums are very rare regardless and would rather not be seen so maybe that is why not much is known about them. They like to sit atop mountainous peaks and observe everything that goes on around then. Anything else??? :P |
| kaibrightwing06-16-07, 01:40 AM | which book is the Electrum dragon in? |
| Mad Mage06-16-07, 01:49 AM | which book is the Electrum dragon in? Read below. Does anyone know if the electrum dragons from Ruins of Myth Drannor have been updated? |
| NemesisDragon06-16-07, 02:19 PM | Mad Mage is correct, AD&D 2nd edition Ruins of Myth Drannor. Their is also an extremely little amount of information in AD&D 2nd Fall of Myth Drannor. Also Dragon Magazine #74 and AD&D 2nd Monstrous Compendium Annual Volume 1. Those are the four sources I have found any information in. :P |
| lint trap06-16-07, 03:03 PM | I remember those fellas! Can't find them in 3rd edition, but try the Tome Dragon from Dragon #343. They're another spell-heavy dragon subrace that could fit the bill. |
| Gray Richardson06-16-07, 03:37 PM | I suppose the easy way to do this is just use a gold dragon as your base creature and add the half-silver dragon template. Or vice versa. :dragon: |
| TomCosta06-18-07, 05:47 PM | Someone had posted a good 3E or 3.5E version of them some time back on their web page, but I can't find it now.... |
| NemesisDragon06-18-07, 07:50 PM | You know you guys could always make it official and squeeze them into a sourcebook :D :D :D |
