| entropysoda03-29-07, 12:43 PM | Do elves in FR have ANY connection to the Seelie or Unseelie realms, or to the fey in general? |
| Shemeska the Marauder03-29-07, 02:16 PM | Toril's elves are an interloper species, while Toril's fey are not. There is no known connection between the two, though they do (at times) share some common points in their racial outlooks. |
| Lord Karsus03-29-07, 07:00 PM | -As Shemmy said, they often have common racial outlooks. It is not uncommon for Elves and Fey/Sylvan creatures to live side-by-side. It is also not that uncommon for Elves to worship the Seelie Court, and for Fey/Sylvan creatures to worship the Seldarine. Furthermore, I seem to recall that the Queen of Air and Darkness relishes in "corrupting" and controling Elves, as well as Fey/Sylvan creatures. -Oh, and if it weren't obvious, the Seldarine and the Seelie Court enjoy cordial relations. |
| boards03-29-07, 08:11 PM | As was stated the Seelie Court and the Seldarine have good relationships, even going so far as to fight together against Lolths Anti-Seldarine invasion. |

| Shemeska the Marauder03-30-07, 12:15 PM | How does one travel between the Seelie realm and Faerun? Is such travel commonplace, say in places like Evermeet? So-called fey crossroads would be a weak point between the fabric of the prime material and Faerie, and presumably someone who knew of the realm/plane/demiplane (however you care to define it, and multiple authors have defined it differently) could gate there. The fey-crossroads have a passing similarity in how they connect to Faerie to how bound spaces in theory can connect to the City of Doors, and in both cases it might be less a case of a person going there, than the location reaching out to them. |
| entropysoda03-30-07, 02:32 PM | any specific known crossover points in Faerun? |
| LockeTM03-30-07, 04:09 PM | Actually, you can use crossroads even without knowing about it, if the gate keeper happens to like you (for instance if you are a bard and happen to really please her with your singing), but that is pretty impropable. Also other way round, even if you know of the crossroad, but the guardian doesn't like you, you wont be allowed to pass.
