Stout Heart [General]
Your toughness inspires more to glory at your side.
Prerequisites: Con 13, Leadership,
Benefit: Add your Constitution bonus to your leadership score for the purposes of determining how many followers you may have with the Leadership feat.

Lithe Grace [General]
Your dexterous prowess in an inspiration to your cause.
Prerequisites: Dex 13, Leadership,
Benefit: Add your Dexterity bonus to your leadership score for the purposes of determining how many followers you may have with the Leadership feat.

Yes, these are inspired by the Might Makes right feat from Races of Faerun. I just decided that races that are more likely to have higher bonuses in these abilities rather than Strength or Charisma would greatly benefit from these feats. Sure, a martially inclined dwarf would likely have a considerate Strength score as is, but he may just as well have even higher Constitution. Same with an elf (or goblinoid) and Dexterity, for that matter.

only downside i can see it the fact there is no cap, and no table to go above 24? LD,

and the fact u could take all 3 feats in add to LD and go mental on them.

There is btw also the Feats from 3rd source that allow add cohorts (1 max lvl and 1 half max lvl.)

Well, there is something I was considering last night, adding a special quality that, the player can only take one of those stat feats, and no other. I was awfully busy at the time, so that idea got put on the back burner.

I think the idea is good, but I think it takes away a lot from Charisma - It makes charisma a lot less useful in my opinion. I think might makes right worked well for orcs (I think Orc, or any savage human ethinicity, should be a prerequisite for the feat) as they admire strength a lot more than elves and halflings. I wouldn't use it.

Don't forget about what I said about Constitution and Dwarves. Dwarves have an equal penalty to Charisma that Orcs have, and may likely have a Constitution score as high as an Orc leader's usual Strength score.

An elf leader may not have as much need of any of the 3 feats since their ability penalty is to Constitution. Still, you never know.

I don't really see either of those feats making a whole lot of sense though. Might makes right does in the sense that you are, for a lack of a better word, bullying/intimidating others to do your will through your obvious physical prowess. I don't see a 45lb halfling who can toss a rock up a giants nose from 50 paces having the same impact... although it would be a sight to see.

It works for me. Robin Hood and the legends of his Dexterity probably helped get the "Merry Men" under his banner, and I'm sure a legendarily tough Dwarf king will get more bearded followers than a kind if wimpy Dwarf king, y'know? I've always felt Leadership is kind of weak ("Here's a kind of useful cohort, and a bunch of useless guys that will die faster than a Familiar! Have fun!"), so anything that'll make it more powerful seems unlikely to be game-breaking, in my book.

Actually I thought he gained the favor of the merry men based on his out look towards the governing state and besting Little John american gladiators style with a staff. I don't believe his archery skill had much to do with it. He was renown for his ability with the bow throughout the land but if it had anything to do with people willing to follow his cause I'd say not really.

I'd definitely scrap these Feats, even if you could only take one of them! It really takes too much away from Charisma - a stat that most characters that are neither Sorcerers nor Paladins consider their dump stat anyway. The definition of "Charisma" is: a quality that makes others look up to you, be inspired by or in awe of you - what else makes a good leader? Being graceful and nimble doesn't inspire others to be led by you. Being "tough" doesn't say anything about your personal qualities as a leader. None of this makes any sense!
I'd probably go for something like "use half your ranks in Intimidate, Sense Motive, or Bluff, whichever is lowest, instead of your Charisma modifier when determining your overall leadership score" or some such - this reflects that, although the character isn't a naturally born, inspiring leader, he has learned necessary skills to at least be a competent one. But using other ability scores than Charisma strikes me as highly doubtful. Might Makes Right doesn't really impress me much either, TBH.
