| Mrakvampire03-30-07, 04:18 AM | Is there any information about Faiths and Pantheons prestige classes updates in 3.5 edition? Where can I find those updates (I've searched Wizards site and haven't found anything) |
| Borris03-30-07, 04:38 AM | The Stormlord has been updated in Complete Divine. The Dweomerkeeper and Nightcloak have been updated in the Web Enhancement to Complete Divine. I'm afraid that's it... |
| EytanBernstein03-30-07, 06:29 AM | I did an update of the Wearer of Purple PrC in Dragons of Faerun. |
| Purple Dragon Knight03-30-07, 07:15 PM | I did an update of the Wearer of Purple PrC in Dragons of Faerun.Really?   I have sadly not reached Dragons of Faerun in the large stack of "D&D books to read" I have in my gaming room... I will check this one immediately though, as I have a major villain in my campaign with several levels in the class [a wealthy Sembian merchant (originally just rogue levels) who always felt fascinated with wyrms but didn't know why until he paid a local wizard handsomely to try to 'learn' magic, where he discovered that he could simply replicate the spell effects by mimicking the gestures and final spell-words the wizards used when casting (i.e. without the lengthy studying that wizard had to devote himself to); the wizard was apalled, and proposed to get the noble examined by some Azuthians at the House of Mysteries in Saerloon; the noble slew him with a deft flick of his rapier as he was about to exit the mansion; with his newfound (but weak) powers, he paid a visit to a local green female, and through her got in touch with the Cult of the Dragon; long story short, his wealth and influence were accepted as readily as his fascination with all things draconic, hence the Wearer of Purple PrC levels. I remember my PCs blink in surprise when the rogue/wizard starded to use his weird Scalykind domain granted power (i.e. hey?!? he's got cleric levels TOO?!?!) he he he... no need for cleric levels to use a granted power! :D )] |
| Mad Mage03-31-07, 01:07 PM | Just for clarification the Wearer of Purple update is on pg. 67 of Dragons of Faerun. IMHO, at least a majority of the changes make sense. Borris is correct about the Stormlord, Dweomerkeeper and Nightcloak. All other PrCs have not been updated yet. |
| ClobberinTime04-02-07, 11:54 AM | Moon Guardian from that same web enhancement looks somewhat like the Silverstar from F+P |
| Zanan04-07-07, 04:00 AM | The recent German translation (published this year) of the book is said to include some errata or conversion notes as well, haven't got it as yet though. |
| book_keeper04-08-07, 11:59 AM | Now I have been a D&D player all the way back to regular D&D in the red box. In the 2nd edition they had speciality priests and I thought the were the best. But there's only been a few spottings of prestige classes. I want a whole book full of them like the ones found in the 2nd edition Faiths and Avatars. |
| Dravial04-08-07, 03:10 PM | These update of the dweomerkeeper you are speaking of is actually a generalization of the class for fit in grayhawk ... notice its use of boccob wee jas. I would still use the 3.0 version in my campains unaltered to keep the forgotten realms flavor. |

Aye right ... just get to the back of the queue, if you please :D |
