I'm sure I know the answer, but I thought I might back it up with some expertise.

+3 bonus vs enchantments, does it stack or does it replace an exsisting racial ability (say the current race already has a +2 bonus vs enchantments)

Seems to me the fey heritage feat would replace rather than stack?

-Where is this Feat from?

Complete Mage, I happened to be thumbing through the book and I came across the fey heritage feats which grant a few extra spell-like abilites and for giggles I decided to bang out a Szarkai (albino drow) elf and see what the spell-like ability count ended up with all the fey heritage feats and various drow feats that grant additional spell-like abilites (which works out to 20 btw), anyways the entry feat Fey Heritage grants a +3 Will bonus vs enchantment effects. So in the case of the Szarkai does it overide the racial +2 bonus vs enchantments or does it stack with it.

-I was thinking of rebuilding the stats of the Star Elves, and this is a feat that would certainly apply to them, at first glance.

-Are they different bonuses. It looks like one is a racial bonus and one is a will bonus. SO...I would say they stack. "Complete Mage" is a very, very good book IMHO. :D

I'd say if you wanted to play up the fey aspect they might work pretty good, you start with the vs. enchantment bonus, add some spell-like abilites and end up with some damage resistance, if you take the whole feat tree it predisposes the creature in question to enchantment specialization and/or being a warlock.

-Exactly. I believe this was attempted, with their Twilight Touch ability, but I don't think it succeeded.

I think I'm gonna go with it overides (although a +5 bonus to Will saves against enchantments would be peachy) in the feat description it says your naturally resistant to most of the common effects produced by your ancestors. I'd take that as meaning it doesn't add to the resistance that a creature already has, it simply replaces it.

If it had been worded "it increases your resistance" I'd say it stacks.
