I'm getting ready to start playing a binder in a realms campaign using the latest super adventure (starting with Cormyr: the Tearing of the Weave). I've been looking at some of the online articles on vestige creation and binders in the realms and decided I would take a shot at making some vestiges for some iconic and appropriate realms personalities. My first shot is everyone's favorite dead god of decay, Moander. I'd love feedback on the vestiges, and would like to see anyone else's realms specific vestiges they may have cooked up.

As I get ideas (and if anyone seems at all interested in the thread) I will post additional vestiges as I create them.

Moander, The Rotting God
Vestige Level: 5th
Binding DC: 25
Special Requirement: Yes

Legend: See various Realms sourcebooks.
Special Requirement: Moander’s seal must be drawn using some manner of rotting or decayed material, such as dead leaves or compost. The seal must also be drawn on a natural surface.
Manifestation: The ground beneath the seal begins to pulse and slowly grows into a mound of rotting compost. All benign plant life within ten feet of the seal immediately rots and dies as the throbbing mass of tendrils begins moaning incomprehensibly to everyone but you.
Sign: Your entire body looks swollen and rotten as though you had contracted a wasting disease. The smell of decay permeates the air about you.
Influence: Moander’s hatred of the elves who once imprisoned him beneath Cormanthor seethes under your skin. You naturally distrust all elves and suffer a -4 penalty on all Charisma based checks made when interacting with them. If you join combat against a foe, you target any enemy elves above all others.
Granted Abilities: While bound to Moander, you gain many abilities that are reminiscent of the powers Moander wielded when he was still a living god.
Contagion: As a standard action, you may touch a creature and bestow a disease on them as the spell contagion. Your caster level equals your effective binder level. Once you have used this ability, you may not do so again for five rounds.
Immunity to Disease: While bound to Moander, you begin to rot and decay much like the rotting god. However, this supernatural rot (which is not permanent and goes away once you end you pact with Moander) overrides any diseases, magical or mundane, you may otherwise contract. While bound to Moander, you are immune to diseases both magical and mundane.
Entangle: At will as a standard action, you may cause tendrils to grow from the ground and entrap all in their area. This ability functions as the spell entangle with a caster level equal to your effective binder level.
Handfang: Your hands grow a gaping maw in the center of your palm. This maw enables you to make unarmed melee attacks as though you had the improved unarmed strike feat. This strike does 1d6 points of damage. On a successfully hit, a target must make a fortitude save or be paralyzed for one round. Once a foe has been paralyzed, you cannot paralyze another foe for five rounds. You may continue to make attacks with your handfang as normal during that time.

I don't know of any FR-specific vestiges. Your Moander looks fairly well-balanced and fits his flavour--if you were to add anything, I'd suggest some sort of suggestion or domination effect, similar to how his spores were used to control people.

FYI, in case you didn't know:

Moander is not entirely dead--see Power of Faerun, where it details his presence on Toril (don't remember if it was an avatar or something), which is trying to absorb magic and divine power to fuel his rebirth.
