(Those with sight, thermal, smell, touch and so on....). I did notice in the Hint & Tips section of this Website under Golems - Illusions was NOT one of their listed Immunities... |
| Armedes04-13-07, 10:08 AM | Id say any illusion that does not effect the mind they are subject to. |
| Another Gnome04-13-07, 10:41 AM | Unless specifically stated otherwise, any creature is assumed to sense its surroundings as a human does. A golem is not subject to phantasms and patterns as those are mind-affecting effects, but it has no special immunity to other types of illusions. |
| Alediran04-13-07, 10:47 AM | Golems are also immune to phantasm type illusions. |
| Another Gnome04-13-07, 11:08 AM | Sorry, I meant phantasms and patterns. :) |
| helicopter04-15-07, 06:46 PM | There are a bunch of established threads over at the Character Optimization and Spells/Magic forums that detail the effective tactical uses of figment spells against construct creatures. In fact, figments are awesome at getting constructs to "waste" their attacks against or to "box them in" and prevent them from acknowledging the presence of the adventurers. In light of said uses, it's very important for the DM to prepare the excruciating details of the operating parameters (as set forth by the constructs creators) prior to engaging the party who may or may not use figments in their battle versus the creature. |
