Goliath Warhulk? Up to DM or no? [Archive] - Wizards Community

By rules, no. I remember a similar question in a Dragon magazine (If you could add a goliath wing if it was to take the half dragon template) is only counted as large for the efects on the ability. but like Wise and beautiful Rino said it your call so "why not?";)

Long Answer:

Technically going by the rules, the Powerful Build special ability is not considered equivalent to a size increase. This is only true when applying size modifiers on opposed checks if that is beneficial to the character. There are some feats (I only remember ones from Races of Stone) that let you change the size large prerequisite for powerful build in a medium character, but that does not apply to all large size prerequisites.

Of course, if the DM lets it (considering that he has evaluated that it should not uneven the balance in the rules) you are clear to go.
