Help with an elven wizard [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-24-07, 02:04 PM For a game that I am going to be playing in I will br playing as an elven wizard at level 15.

I would like to emulate the elves of the past and would like help knowing what they used and how.

Well the concept for him has him being this ancient in age(immortal, from a spell that he had cast on him that is 9th level) elf that is from those times (like around the time of Netheril)

What books are the rules(3.5e) for spell mantles(like in that Elminster book) and the Kirra(sp?)

As well as frequent spells and specific magic items.

Oh yeah, and play styles and behavior/beliefs too.

10-26-07, 03:53 PM Both of those were first mentioned in one of the Dragon Annuals...I "think" it was in the first or second...maybe in the third...

I hope that this helps you out...I'll go burrow into my 1ED library and see what I can find. :)

Mantles and Kiiras were mentioned in Dragon Annual #2!!!

10-29-07, 03:44 PM Download "Cormanthyr: Empire of the Elves" from elsewhere on this site and really flesh him out! It's an old Arcane Age supplement, but I've really gotten some mileage out of it in a sub-campaign I've called called "Return of the Miyeritar Kings".
