Info/stats on a Diatryma? [Archive] - Wizards Community

We all know Jarlaxle has a feather in his famous hat that conjures said creature. The question is, are there any stats - official (preferred) or homebrew - for these things? :help:

-I don't believe there is.

-However, if you read THIS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diatryma), you'll find out that Anseriformes are related to Diatryma. Geese are a form of Anseriformes. So, perhaps applying the Dire template to a Large-sized Goose is the scientifically closest thing. You'd have to give the goose in question claws, and not webbed-feet, and take away it's ability to fly, however.
