would like some additional info on the jordani race. supposed to be magically created by arcane wizards. perhaps they mess with the fetus of women of various races during gestation. i was reading a short story by elaine cunninghamm and i think she brought up a character that really interested me. he was called gnarfling since he appeared to look like halflings, gnomes, and dwarves all in one. can't find mentionm of them anywhere...help please

-Information on them is going to be found in Elaine Cunningham's Councilors and Kings series.

-In effect, I think they are very much like Illumians (Sp?).

See the "Jordain Vizier" on pg. 33 of the 3e Shining South tome. And the section on "Halruaa" as well.

The original template included on the WotC site -- the "Jordain-Born" by Tom Costa -- was updated from 3e to 3.5e as a PrC in the Shining South tome. Mostly very minor changes, though the template was dropped, presumably to make them easier to use. You can find some additional stuff Tom wrote to go along with the Jordain, including an update of the template from the original WotC article, in the appendix of his Prestige in the Realms PDF (http://www.ericlboyd.com/dnd/PrestigeintheRealms.pdf.zip) on Eric Boyd's website.

Thanks Sage. The stuff in Prestige of the Realms specifically takes into account some of the things that occur in the Garfling story.....
