Ladies and Gentlemen I was hoping for some creative criticism on a PrC I had cooked up. I find myself unimpressed by the options given to the paladin. The reality of the situation is that its useless beyond 6th level and thats me being generous. Given that PrCs are really the only option. My DM hasnt allowed me to take the two other PrCs I liked those being Grey Guard and Shadowbane Inquisitor so I choose to build my own. I was hoping to get some advice before I brought it to his attention.

I do have a table in an excel document Im not sure how to post it though. Any advice ont hat would be wonderful. Untill Then here we go.

Requirements:

Base Attack Bonus: +6
Skills: Knowledge religion 5 ranks, Knowledge nobility and royalty 5 ranks, ride 3 ranks

Feats: weapon focus (deities favored weapon), true believer

Spells: Must be able to cast first level divine spells.

Special: must be accepted into this knightly order after proving your loyalty to the goddess. This is accomplished by a test of faith.

Hit dice: d10

Fort: poor
Reflex: Poor
Will: Good
BAB: as fighter

Class skills (2+int mod): Diplomacy, Knowledge nobility and royalty, Knowledge religion, ride, sense motive, spot

Special Mount: a Knight of the starry road class levels stack with any class that provides a special mount to determine the abilities and HD of that mount.

Smite evil (Su): Once Per day a knight of the starry road of second level or higher may attempt to smite evil with one normal melee attack. She adds her Charisma Bonus to the attack roll and deals 1 additional point of damage per class level. The knight gains an additional use of this ability at 4th and 6th level. If the knight also has levels in paladin add the daily uses from his knight levels to daily uses of his paladin levels. Also a knights paladin levels and knight levels stack to determine additional damage for her smites. She gains an additional use of this ability and 4th and 6th levels. See paladin in the PHB.

Courtly Knowledge (Ex): A knight adds his class level to all knowledge nobility and royalty checks as a competence bonus. The knight is no mere soldier he is knowledgeable of the nobility around him better to advance the cause of the faith. See Cavalier in complete warrior.

Mettle (Su): A knight’s special blessing allows her to shrug off magical effects that would otherwise harm her. If the knight make a successful fortitude or will save that would reduce a spells effect she suffers no effect at all. Only those spells with a saving through entry of “will partial” or “fortitude half” or a similar entry can be negated through this ability. Se Pious Templar in Complete Divine.

Where have all the good men gone (Ex): Once per month if the knight is slain in combat his dedication and valor are rewarded and he is resurrected as per the true resurrection spell.

Spells per day (5/10): At all odd levels the knight gains an increase in spells per day. As if she had gained a level in the divine spell casting class she belonged to before adding the prestige class. She gains no other benefits except an increased level of spell casting.

Your res ability is too powerful.
The rest combined is too weak.

Flavor alert -- you list "the goddess" then don't name her anywhere. Suggest naming one of the class abilitiyes after her (like my res replacement idea, name it 'Goddess' Resolve' or something)

Suggestions:
Make each level except 1 or 2 add to Paladin spellcasting (specify it, not just divine...unless you wnat to make it more general then at least grant 5 levels of divine casting)
There's some PrCs out there that let you do Diplomacy checks with taking 10 or as standard actions, look into those, add something similar, limiting it to courtroom activities if you wish to keep the theme tight
Nix the ressurrection, grant something that lets the Paladin keep fighting even with mortal injuries until they fail a Con save (or similar) based on their total negative hit points.

As to the table, try copying it all into a "code" block.
