Saiyamantis 10-17-07, 12:58 AM	I'm planning on using this beastie soon, but I need to figure out a couple of things first. 1) Does Sea Mother Blessing stack with the monk's AC bonus ability? I know other bonuses of this type don't stack (ie, monk/ninja), but I'm not clear on why. Is it because they're both Wisdom-derived, or because their names and effects are the same? 2) The slippery ability says the Leviathan is immune to webs and "can usually wriggle free from most other forms of confinement." I assume this is the source of its Escape Artist check bonus, but it seems like it should directly affect grapple checks as well. Would adding a +8 bonus on grapple checks to escape grapples be unbalancing?
ElMorte 10-17-07, 05:55 AM	or because their names and effects are the same? Exactly. Somewhere in the rules (cant remember where) is stated that boni of the same name dont stack.
