Lawful Good Druid? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-11-07, 11:04 PM I need a little clarification, since I am not sure whether I am understanding correctly or not.

According to PHB v3.5, lawful good is NOT listed under the available alignments to choose from.

However, according to the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, all divine spellcasters (including druids) can be 1 step away from their deities alignment. If were to choose Mielikki (NG) am I allowed to be Lawful Good, or am I limited to being Neutral Good, Chaotic Good and Neutral?

07-12-07, 12:05 AM By the core rules, you could be Neutral Good or True Neutral (not Chaotic Good - why did you think that was allowed?). The 1-step rule doesn't replace class-based restrictions, its an additional one.

But of course if your DM doesn't mind, anything is possible. I'd be fine with a Druid of any alignment personally. The only one I've ever played was pretty much Chaotic Evil in everything but name (technically she was Neutral Evil with chaotic tendencies, just because where I was playing her everything is done strictly by the rules).

07-14-07, 11:48 AM I think by RaW you can't be a LG druid. You can be a LG cleric of Mielliki, though.
