Is this a new variant you want to make or are you simply asking if this is right? Because if it is as it should be in the book, the ability modifiers are wrong (Wis and Cha should be both at -4, not -2), barbarian should be their favored class instead of fighter, the special abilities you grant them are not covered anywhere, and you ignored the original ones: marsh move (no movement penalties when in marsh terrain) and the summoning special ability (when casting a summon monster spell, there's a 50% chance they summon another creature of the same type and a 25% chance that all summoned monsters are not under the bullywug control).

Where are you getting your information?
Also, the summoning is only for Bullywug clerics not Barbarians.
In Monsters of Faerun it only mentions the Warrior class.

I myself am quite fond of Bullywugs, Sivs and Grippli. They are the barbaric descendants of the long lost Batrachi creator race. There's tremendous potential for storytelling and adventures involving them. You should definitely use one in a campaign.

I'm also all for Bullywug characters. Having six of them as miniatures, I'd better find a way to use them in my D&D campaigns. They just don't fit in my current games, one being set around the Great Glacier and the Bloodstone Lands, and the other one being in the Underdark. Maybe my next campaign will focus on batrachi descendants. But that won't be until next year at least.

-Sulaco (Don't know if you know him or not) has a veritable army of Bullywug Miniatures. I think he has 54 or 56 of 'em...

Well, I only have what I found in my boosters. I like the race, but I won't go out of my way to buy more than I already have. Though I could get a Bullywug army easilly if I ever thought I'd use more than 6 of them in a single encounter. The local gaming store sells them for 50 cents a piece.

Still, I don't think it'd be a wise move to spend 25$ on Bullywug figs just to have a bigger army than Sulaco.

-Don't worry. It's not size that counts, but how you use it. ;)

Monsters of Faerūn and Player's Guide to Faerūn web-enhancement... literally what it says there.

Of course, barbarians get no benefit from the summoning ability, but they have it already. It's like the Deep Imaskari (Underdark) spells special ability (I don't remember its name) that which let's you swap spells prepared... if you are a Deep Imaskari fighter, you also get no benefit but you still have it.

A good thing that RPG has is that you can combine whatever options you have at your disposal. Probably the monsters are usually warriors and their leaders barbarians, but you can make any PC or special NPC by giving him any class (as long as you have a good background and backstory).

My player developed a bad habit of licking bullywugs to get loaded when they couldnt afford ale. i have since banned them from taking bullywug's as slaves. the Bullywug's that have been freed tend to follow the players still...

I support all Living monsters as PC's that are up to large sized. Undead and Abyssal beings in only evil campaigns.

No, Kermy hated Miss Piggy, but I think if some of those other frog-folk took a liking to her, she might just become "Miss Piggy" in more then just name. ;)

I thought salt was only used on slugs?

With Frogs legs being on the top of the menu. :P

Or better yet - the next time my PCs break into an Wizard's Laboratory, there will be a Bullywug pinned to the wall with it's chest opened up.
