| Dark Wizard09-20-07, 11:22 PM | I read recently about the Couatl and the Rakshasa being "opposites" in terms of D&D. They are both CR 10 monsters, outsider type, comparable powers. One is lawful good the other is lawful evil. I was wondering what would be the opposite of the Drow given similar criterion? |

| BadCatMan09-21-07, 02:06 AM | AKA an Urdunnir. :D |
| GothicDan09-21-07, 02:13 AM | An upside down undead albino shield elf, with black hair, who wields -2 anti-scimitars. |

That being said - Sun Elves, in some ways, and extremely similar in others. Thus my careful use of "'opposite' in terms of D&D" and "given similar criterion." I suppose I should clarify that this is more of a mechanics or design question than a lore based one. What fills the Drow D&D mechanics niche but is not a Drow? |
| GothicDan09-21-07, 02:41 AM | Mechanically, well, they're Elven with a few modified ability bonuses and a few special abilities. Uh... What creatures have abilities similar to Feather Fall, Dancing Lights, and Darkness? |
| Webster09-21-07, 04:12 AM | Word. :D |
| Straploknight09-22-07, 11:09 PM | Elf.....duh..... Seriously though, if you looking for an exact opposite, I dont think there is any. |
| MarkusTay6309-22-07, 11:13 PM | Considering their violent reaction to Fey music, I would hazard to guess Faeries, or perhaps Brownies. Natural magical abilities, connected to nature and 'the light', etc... |
| The_Shaman09-24-07, 07:35 AM | Mineral warrior dwarf :) Or, to keep up with the LA +2, mineral warrior aasimar dwarf. I think there are elven aasimars, so why not have dwarven ones? |
