Salkyre 06-02-07, 01:43 PM	Hey guys, I'm new to the site so stay with me while I learn it, I was wondering if there is a list of poisons and venoms, that you can make or get from creatures and plants. I've seen a few here and there, but I'm looking for a more detailed list. The list in the DM's guide 3.5v is ok, it is not detailed enough for what I want though. Maybe something that actually tells how to make it or get it from the animals, and rules on that... thanks alot guys! Salkyre Larion Jeff-
Zanan 06-02-07, 06:34 PM	Song & Silence has the appriate description, i.e. Craft (Poisonmaking), while various sourcebooks have more poisons. The best d20-books I found in regards to herbalism and poison so far are Mongoose's The Quintessential Druid II (3,5E) and The Quintessential Witch. The latter has some excellent pictures of the plants too.

Lady Rolindin 06-30-07, 09:40 PM	Another good sorce is the plant, tree and other types at candlekeep.com. Witch has a good list and what they are used for. The list is very long, A to Z. once at candlekeep home page go to Aldo's libray, then to unoffical fr site. I posted the list else where it is almost 20 of the boxes big. you can copy or down load it for free.
Old Sage 06-30-07, 10:10 PM	The 3e Lords of Darkness source also lists a few poisons used in the Realms. There were a couple mentioned in the Ol' Grey Box also, as well as in the Forgotten Realms Adventures hardcover, which also mentions a few by name, with few supportive details.
Mad Mage 06-30-07, 10:41 PM	The Book of Exalted Deeds and Book of Vile Darkness also have their own poisons, though in the case of BoED, such are known as "ravages" due to their exalted/good-aligned nature.
