| Fabius Maximus09-22-07, 07:59 PM | Now that is an interesting idea. Technically, it shouldn't be a problem. Jordaini are cut of from access to the Weave. Psionics don't need it. Maybe something in the creation process went wrong, and the Jordain develops certain powers. He'd have to hide his abilities, though. Magehound won't probably be able to sniff him out, but someone seeing him manifesting would draw questions, and I'm positive that mind magic is not seen as much different from arcane magic in Halruaa. |
| benking2709-22-07, 08:55 PM | i've been thinking about it for a while, but i wasn't sure whether or not to pursue it b/c i wasn't sure if it was possible. according to Halruaan law, psionics is not recognized by the Council, but is also vehemently ignored. my plan was to use him for a story ive been thinking about. |
| TomCosta09-25-07, 05:26 PM | I would guess, it's technically possibleif psionics is not equivalent to magic in your campaign (that is spell resistance does not equal power resistance) and regardless of that answer, I'm fairly sure the wizards of Halruaa would consider any jordain who manifested powers to be rogue and have them killed out of course. |
