04-18-07, 03:24 PM Does any one know anything about a psionic Lich? Can manifester level take the place of caster level in the liches requirement?

04-18-07, 04:11 PM There is some precedent for psionic liches. An illithilich or alhoon is a mind flayer lich. My recollection is that most alhoons have levels in sorcerer or wizard, but I don't think levels in psion would be impossible. There are psionic dracoliches - Iltharagh and Cypress being the only examples I can think of. I think it would work in a manner similar to that of regular liches. There may be rules for this somewhere, but I can't recall any off the top of my head.

Well Im sort of new to the whole forums thing here. I think they are pretty cool. I'm trying to make a lich with psionics, because I feel like I have came across them in the past. Forget about the dorw part, The psionic Drizzt comment was a joke LOL!

04-19-07, 11:34 AM You might want to hunt down some Darksun 3.X web sources (I don't have the url offhand but there are some sites devoted to Darksun and they've done some 3.x updates) because they may have tackled the psionic lich. I'd probably start with Monte's though, he's got some skillz :)

However, keep in mind that lich's perse do not exist in Darksun, all intellegent undead are unique tho they do follow a few templates. For a direct jump to the undead release go to http://www.athas.org/releases/totdl/TotDL35_v1.pdf That will take you to Terrors of the Deadlands over on Athas.org. Very good material, but I'm not sure if you'll find something that fits into FR's.
