Hopefully playing in an underdark campaign starting at 6th level. I decided to rogue it up, since that is something I've never played before. I wonder what people's opinions are of an air genasi rogue. The bonus to dex and int seems to be right in line with being a rogue, plus the levitate ability.

I dig it. Maybe a scout or swashbuckler would be interesting as well. Though I'm not sure how much an air genasi would like the Underdark

you have a point, but they don't need to breathe . . . so it would be mostly a mental thing. and not needing to breathe can be key in a completely enclosed environment like the underdark.

i never really got into scout or swashbuckler - probably just me, but they never really captured my interest.

Fair enough. Enjoy the character. You might want to play them a bit on the claustrophobic side. Having an air genasi underground and having tight spaces may increase the role-play a bit
