Hello, I attempt to make an adaptation of the Stoneblessed PrC from Races of Stone linked to Maur from Underdark. Stonecursed Hit Die : d8. Requirements To qualify to become a stonecursed, a character must fullfill all the following criteria. Races : human. Feats : Jotunbrud. Skills : Appraise 2 ranks ?, Craft (stoneworking) 5 ranks. Special : The character must be able to speak Giant, as well as Terran. Special : The character must have free a tribe from their lost prison, or help the tribe to defend against the incursions of mind flayers. Class Skills The stonecursed's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Jump (Str) and Profession (Wis). Each stonecursed character gains additional class skills based on the Maur to which she forms a bond (see stonebond, below) Skill Points at Each Level : 2 + Int modifier. Class Features All the following are class features of the stonecursed prestige class. Weapon and Armor Proficiency : Stonecursed gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor. Stonebond (Ex): A maur-bonded stonecursed adds Spot (Wis), Hide (Dex), Listen (Wis), Escape Artist (Dex). Burrow 5 ft ? Racial Battle Technique (Ex) : At 2nd level and higher, a stonecursed gains Oversize Weapon ability. In addition, she gains another ability : Unfurled Might. Oversize Weapon (Ex) A maur can wield a two-handed weapon as though it were one-handed and a one-handed weapon as though it were light. Unfurled Might (Su) : When in a space at least 10 feet high that offers sufficient room for a creature with a 10-foot space, a stonecursed can unfurl from its position as a standard action. While completely unfurled, the maur gains a +6 bonus to Strength, a +6 bonus to Constitution, and a +4 morale bonus to AC and saving throws. A stonecursed can spend 10 rounds unfurled each day. The category size change for Large. Stoneborn (Ex) : At 3rd level, a stonecursed completes the bond with the Maur. The stonecursed gains a permanent +? increase to her ? score. In addition, for all effects related ti race, a stoneblessed is considered a member of the race to which is bonded. The stoneblessed meets any racial, size category prerequisite for prestige classes and feats as if she were a member of her bonded race. Finally, the stonecursed gets an ability based on her type of racial bond : Spell-like ability : 2/day spider climb. Caster level 1st ? or Tunnel Scream (Su) :Once per day, a stonecursed can scream within any enclosure of stone or natural earth (such as in an earthen tunnel or a stone building). Its scream fills a 60-foot cone with sonic energy. Any creature within this area is stunned for 1 round, deafened for 4d6 rounds, and takes ?d6 points of damage. A DC 16 + Con modifier Fortitude save negates the stunning and deafness effects and reduces the damage by half. Is it too powerful, unbalanced ? Is it correct to use the Appraise skill requirement or not ? What is the craft to create amor, weapons, amulets in stone ? Craft (stoneworking) ? For the modification of the category size, Large to Huge, do it come from the hunched position and the storm giant ancestry (Huge in size) and not from the increase of the might ? Where is the prison for the maur ? Thanks for your future help.
