07-13-07, 07:00 AM In the PHB under the paladin multi classing sidebar does it mean that paladins of the various faiths may multiclass as more than one of the listed classes? Example, is Paladin/Fighter/Divine Champion a legitimate combo?

07-13-07, 08:54 AM If going by the PHB, it states that they may not multiclass freely, but the FRCS states that depending on their faith they may multiclass freely with any of the listed classes, which does mean that they may have 3 or 4 classes, but be warned, the more classes you have the more limited each class is.
And for your 3 class combo it would have to be a paladin of Helm, Moradin or Tyr for that specific combo.

07-13-07, 09:12 AM Well, first of all, the PHB says you can't multiclass at all, and even if it did, it wouldn't list the Divine Champion PrC.

So, operating under the assumption you're referring to Paladin Orders listed in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, then the answer is yes, you may multiclass, assuming that Order allows the combination you're looking for.

07-16-07, 10:32 AM while generic paladins are normaly not able to multiclass selected deities inthe realm allow particular multiclass combinations. So yes if you pick your deity right you may be able to multiclass; however the general rule then is that the second class can never exceed (often never match) the paladin class. Prestige classes are a different thing - these you can do - at least some of them without too much problem. Again you do need to check the text on the PrC to see which deities are allowable or discuss it with your DM if none are listed.
