Dargoth 03-05-07, 01:24 AM	Got a question If a Knight takes levels of the Purple Dragon Knight PrC how does the Knights Fighting Challenge work with the Purple Dragon Knights Oath of Wrath ability?
Valgard 03-06-07, 10:03 AM	You can have both active at once, but as the bonuses from both abilities are morale bonuses, you'll only get the better in any single check. For example, a Knight 6/Purple Dragon Knight 4 that chooses the same enemy for both abilities would have a +2 morale bonus on melee attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws and skill checks made against his foe (the Oath of Wrath bonus), and he'll have a +1 for ranged attack rolls (the Knight's Fighting challenge bonus, which applies to all attack rolls). If the same character advances to Knight 13/Purple Dragon Knight 4 and again uses both abilities, then he'll have a +3 morale bonus on attack rolls, damage rolls and Will saves, but only +2 morale bonus on Fort and Ref saves and skill checks made against his foe.
