| Taithalonos02-28-07, 12:12 AM | I am playing an elven sorcerer. After a few levels, I moved out to a Shadow Adept. Now I am thinking of adding another prestige class. What do you think of adding the Fatespinner class to mix things up? Any other ideas?:plotting: |

If they had a bigger Hit Die, better saves, more skill points or whatever, the change might be worth it. But even from a roleplaying perspective lost caster levels hurt more than anything else. Still, give us a little more detail to work with. What does your character stand for? What's important to him/her? Is he a sinister brooding type (Shadow Adept seems good for that) or a more playful sort (which lends itself better to Fatespinner)? Come on, details! |

I think it would be most useful when facing higher ranked battles than you should be able to survive, due to the many second chances you have and can give to others. I'd say in most every day encounters I wouldn't count on it doing a whole lot. Though as far as flavor goes he sounds like the kind of guy who would enjoy ruining others days.
