Going to make a human rogue in a group in the north/silver march.
The group have 2 warrior, 1 monk, 1 mage (futur mind bender), 1 cleric and me as rogue.

I was thinking of going for the dugeon delver PrC but i think there is other possibility if you have any other option ?

And well i haven t still choose my 2 first feat , any idea ?

Thanks in advance .

Buy complete Scoundrel and use that book and your rogue will be at his best.

If you want to be a skill based rogue, then go for Exemplar PrC. What kind of rogue do you wanna play?

Partycomposition and teamwork are of the essence here. You can take advantage of all those melees in the party to flank, so some melee feats are great. Try to get weapon finesse at level 3. You can either go twoweaponfighting or the springattack route for optimal meleeexpertise. Ranged rogues can be fun too though...
I succesfully travelled through the underdark with a low level human rogue (he multiclassed with fighter in the underdark to improve his melee presence which was great since he had str 18 :) ). He took the spring attack route because of the low hp and the increased size of his enemies (ignoring their AoO's when closing is great) and started practising his one hit kill-skills (by taking imp feint). Was dropping fools for 40 damage per hit since then.
But remember skills make the rogue one of the most versatile class in the PHB.
Choose 2 roles and stick with those for maxxed skills, and choose several other for synergy bonusses and versetality. As the party needs a trapmonkey go for this role foremost. Maybe also be an acrobat and party face. Some trickery in combat and social situations can be very handy.
