The sarrukh antagonist in my campaign has created a potent version of the toxin that transforms humans to yuan-ti, allowing him to transform an aasimar in the same manner. I'm looking for some input as far as the race conversion would go. Just how much of the original aasimar racial traits would carry through (ability adjustments, racial abilities, etc.)? Some abilities like darkvision would simply be replaced by his the abilities of the new form, but would ALL of his original inherent traits be lost? And to take it a step further, what about level adj? If he's not a true aasimar anymore, would he still retain the adj from it? I'm leaning towards an all out wiping out of the level adj if it seems like he'd lose any abilities that made him a more powerful race to begin with. Thoughts?
