| King_Neckchopper04-20-07, 03:13 PM | I'm looking for some ideas on a undead cohort. My character is a 10th lv blackguard, 2nd level psychic warrior, 1st level ex paladin, human Death knight. I would like my cohort to have some spell casting ability, but please send all suggestions. My cohort can be ECL 16. Get at me Dawgz! I can squash you like a bug right now Spider-man~ Green Goblin |

It was released not too long ago, so if you can't find it through a nearby bookstore, you most definitely could get a copy through a site like Amazon.com. |
| King_Neckchopper04-20-07, 11:22 PM | Yeah i go that book. I'm looking ofr ideas here, not material. i want to know what are some good class and undead type combinations, PrC incleude. As far as material I got tons of material. i want to get different opinions from other players. |

Well, you could have a Blood Fiend Demon from Fiend Folio page 47; it's an Extraplanar Undead, and can be advanced to 16 HD or more (and note that if you're using 3.5 Edition rules that it has DR 15/Good). Gotta warn you that said creature is also Chaotic Evil, so I'm wondering if that fits your character's alignment. That's all I can think of for now. |
| DraconsNighthawk04-21-07, 01:41 AM | could always go lich thats a mystic thurge. Or undead monkey if your the pirate type. Hey! Immortal Monkey! |
| Zanan04-21-07, 06:26 AM | Methinks Bone Bats as (re-)introduced in Monsters of Faerūn would do. Or use the Bone Creature template as given in the BoVD. |
| PharaunMizzrym04-22-07, 05:13 PM | If spellasting is what you're looking for, a spectral mage (wizard or sorceror, your preference) would be good. In addition to its magic it would be incorporeal and have good hit points. |
| PharaunMizzrym04-22-07, 05:14 PM | Spectral mage is in Magic of Faerun. |
| King_Neckchopper04-24-07, 11:04 AM | Thnaks for the input, I'm still looking for ideas so keep them comming. My characters alignment is chaotic evil. |
| Red_Wizard04-24-07, 12:35 PM | I want to recommend a Caster of some type, but short of maybe a dreadlock I don't see why any undead caster would be a cohort to some random blackguard. They tend to like to be the boss. ;):P Perhaps look for something to compliment you're fighting style. Perhaps a vampire rogue. |
| Echo_that_Pains04-24-07, 02:30 PM | The most basic one would be just to get a level 16 wizard with the Necropolitan (LM) template. Necropolitans progress based on character levels, and they have no racial HD. |
| King_Neckchopper04-24-07, 02:56 PM | Thats in the Libris Mortis? And are they considered undead? |
| Echo_that_Pains04-24-07, 02:58 PM | The template is in LM yes. All it does (for an xp and gold cost) is turn your living character into an undead that advances by class. |
