If so, have you encountered any problems as far as fitting them in thematically? I was thinking of the following patron deities for such paladins: Sentinel (a NG paladin who turns fiends instead): Gwaeron Windstrom (fits the description of a wandering protector) Avenger (CG): Shaundakul (who is CN, I know). The idea of a wandering hero who seeks to help those in need; particularly those in need of freedom (class has break enchantment ability). Anarch (CN): Erevan Ilesere. The elven deity of rogues, mischief, and change. The Anarch opposes law and order and encourages others to do the same. The smite law and turn construct abilities seem to fit in best with this portfolio. Incarnate (N): described as not serving a patron deity, but Balance. If you import it without changes, you would have an interesting character who would have to deal with looking forwward to an afterlife being slowly digested into Kelemvor's living wall (can anyone say "Sarlacc?"). Otherwise, I can't really think of a deity devoted solely to balance (all the N deities in Faerun have pretty focused portfolios). Enforcer (LN): Siamorphe. This class has the suggestion ability, which I thought fit in well with a god of human nobility and rulership. Any thoughts? |

About the N Incarnate, it may be quite interesting an exception rule about a divine spellcaster in FR that, not only does not need a patron deity, but he must not have a patron deity. If we are going more classic and less revolutionary, you may accept Mystra as patron deity for them in the aspect of 'The Weave is a force to everybody and alignment extremes are not good to preserve it', as Mystra, being good, has to accept that evil spellcasters will use it. Also, if you find Gray Richardson, ask him about the Rilmani (Fiend Folio), they are the enforcers of neutrality in the outer planes and possibly these incarnates are agents of the rilmani in the material plane. |

But I figured I'd get some feedback on deities for each of the classes. Valgard: I think I like Selune better for the CG variant, too. |
