| cynnder03-29-07, 08:24 PM | In the campaign I was in (that sadly ended), we had a Warforged. His back story was that he doesn't remeber much, but somehow ended up the the Realms, befreinded a nice (although shady) older woman, who was trying to sell his services. (Never did find out in the older woman was paid or not.) Since he didn't remember much, we developed his story gradually, to find out where he came from and how he ended up in the Realms. As long as you leave the character's back story vague, it's easy to make up the character's history as you go along. It's good too, since you might have smaller story lines revolving around the character. Also It's fun to have the DM 'roleplay' the NPC's reaction to a Warforged in the Realms.:D |

| The_Shaman03-30-07, 09:51 AM | Unless it's something the duergar or the Gond clergy made, the only other way would be a planar portal. Mind you, it could just be another set of stats for a Gondman, animated construct, or what have you. Stats do not have to be written in stone, they are a supplement to make the game easier to run. |
