| AskaniPsion11-24-07, 10:19 PM | Has there been any warlocks yet in any Forgotten Realms novels?? I really love the class and would love to see some warlocks. Thanks to any who can help! |

| AskaniPsion11-24-07, 10:34 PM | The only one I can think of was the one in the novel Depths of Madness. I am guessing it was a male warlock? I thought about buying that book as the storyline seemed cool. Thanks for the info! :D |

| Green Elven Vampire11-24-07, 10:50 PM | That novel was wicked amazing!!! |
| Old Sage11-24-07, 11:28 PM | You'll find an intriguing conception of the "warlock" character concept in Erik Scott de Bie's Depths of Madness. Davoren is one of the many fascinating aspects of the story. I'll also suggest you stop by Candlekeep and read through Erik's own replies about the character and his relation to the plot. Additionally, there is a writeup of Davoren on the Wizards' site -- it could be considered a spoiler of sorts, so you might not want to read it until after you're done with the novel:- http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/frcc/20070314 |

The novel's characters all had an edge to them dictated by the scenario. I loved that book |
| Lord Karsus11-25-07, 04:10 AM | -While not actually novel material, the Star Elves have been injected with "Warlockness" in one of Eytan's Warlock Class Chronicle article. |
| AskaniPsion11-25-07, 04:20 AM | Wow the book sounds good-I think I will pick it up this week since i just finished "Storm of the Dead". Thanks everyone for the info - I think I will stop by Candlekeep too. I always like horror fantasy like Ravenloft and this book seems in the same genre. |
| MerrikCale11-25-07, 01:05 PM | I think I will stop by Candlekeep too. I will look for you there |
| Alkasyn11-27-07, 02:23 PM | If You're into computer games, there's a certain warlock in Neverwinter Nights 2, with a detailed storyline. Pretty interesting. |

I am currently playing the game right now with a female drow warlock of Lolth - I LOVE LOVE being able to use EVERY wand, scroll and miscellaneous item in the game! |

Did You try out the expansion, too?? Ammon makes an appearance in MoTB too, albeit a minor one. Use magic device being their class skill is the only good thing about warlocks in nwn2, imo:P |

Oh no their Blasts are awesome - I choose the Acid blast that ignores Spell Resistance - it arches off foes and hits others - with my high Dex due to race + warlock invocation that adds +4 to Dex + Cat's Grace spell cast by my sorcerer + magic items I have an INSANE ranged Touch attack with it-I NEVER miss Love it! I like summoning the unlimited skeletal warriors at will too |
| Alkasyn11-28-07, 04:44 PM | Yea, the fact that Ammon appeared so late in the game made me not minmax him, cause so many new skills and abilities were just too much. MoTB is a nice expansion, though, it's short, but I had a feeling I really was meddlnig in epic affairs. Happy Gaming:) |

Happy Gaming:) I think the NPCs in MOTB are much better than the regular game - I saw online who they were. The gnome bard in regular game was anooying and VERY useless. The druid ALWAYS ran into melee combat no matter what AI I put her on and she always got killed. Since I am playing an evil character, I have the Gith cleric, the human sorceress, tielfing rogue and me, the warlock. Too bad you can't have your NPCs take prestige classes. Looking forward to the Thayvian wizard in the expansion. I wonder why they don't have any warlock only items that for example alter your Blasts or feats that allow you to choose extra Invocations. I found that kind of disappointing. |
| Malkor_The_Mad12-16-07, 02:14 PM | If you head to NWNvaults there are some mods that you can download that will allow you to multiclass your companions, as well as some really good Modules that the community has developed. |
