| Burningspear05-10-07, 12:43 AM | OK, a friend of mine wants to play a Windwright Captain in FR, and as its based on feats witch don't exist in FR i have to adapt it for him. I think the Windwright sounds very suitable for a "experimental" airship commander on a new type of airship build by Halruaah. Windwright Captain (Eberron, Explorers Handbook) The normal prereq. are: Race: Half Elf Skills: Balance 4, Prof(Sailor) 10, use magic dev. 6 Feats: Lesser Dragon Mark (now here is the biggest problem) Special: able to cast at least 1st level arcane spells How to adapt this prestige class to a Halruaan sky-ship captain? any thoughts? :plotting: |

Maybe you could require Craft Wondrous Item or something to replace the Dragon Mark if its a big issue or something. If you're thinking Halruaa, take out the racial requirement and add in a regional requirement instead, and replace anything that refereces ship with sky-ship. Can't say I have the book in question or even seen the write up, but that sounds like a decent start to me. |

I think "Magical Training" suits best in the fact it is with the fewest regions attainable, apart from Halruua. Ability to cast: Whispering wind and Gust of Wind (and must take at higher level, when able to cast 5th lvl spells: Sending) more ideas later.. |
