What is the best weapon enchantment for your greatsword? What mage knows how to enchant this in your campaign?

Personally I'd say Ghost Strike, not that I use undead all that much as a DM, but I just really like the idea of it.

Does a ghost touch weaopon ignore concealment by defensive glamours? A shadowstriking ghosttouch greatsword it is then. Ack. Guess one can find this at a sharran cult cell.

If your a pure fighter (i.e. not a warmage, or caster that uses a sword) I would go for the dispelling enchantment.

I understood that dispell is once per day. Not good enough IMO. Maybe its easier to get as an enchantment upgrade at a thayan enclave.

Vorpal is pretty nice. As is wounding or keen.

Energy Aura is fairly useful... good for lots of different types of opponents at least.

-Spell Storing is a favorite of mine. Nothing like having, say, a Harm spell, or something to that effect, in your weapon.

I like the "defender" quality with a two handed weapon, because it gives you a quasi-shield capability if you need it.

I would really like to know how you can store a sixth-level spell in a capacity that is limited to a third-level spell maximum ...

I like the Splitting enhancement for ranged weapons. Say, could it work with spell storing arrows or some of the Arcane Archer imbued arrows?

I prefer keen or wounding. Both are pretty useless against undead though.

Keen, wounding, vorpal, or speed. Or chaos and evil - they rock when wielded by a drow. :)))

Vorpal followed by Disruption, depending if you facing more living or Undead

The Weapon is only found or looted as "Kosher" states these are "ancient enchantments" though the weapons are common enough to not be considered "rare artifacts"

If you look hard enough there is a "Master Spell" called "Vorpal" that disrupts Undead or decapitates living creatures (either/or as a force based attack) that can be found in the Fallen Empire Ruins (usually incomplete from damage or wear from age/environment of course)

If you're a ranger or ranger/scout, I'd recommend the weapon to be enchanted with "Force" and "Hunting" weapon properties. After that, if you can afford then get the "Splitting Arrows" property. Splitting arrows is found in Champions of Ruins. Both "Force" and "Hunting" can be found in MIC.
Careful there are 2 versions of Force property. One is the one used by Cattie-brie called Force Weapon Property(+3). The one I'm referring to is +2. The effects are slightly different. Highly recommended for Ranger/Scout cause your entire Skirmish attack will be considered Force damage. Overcomes all DR except against force immunity spell or with force-related protection spell.
Splitting arrow is good if you're pure ranger doing full attacks.
