Hello,
I want to create a character fighting in cramped spaces.

The character will use the photogenerative rock to change the place for the fight.

The photogenerative rock come from Underdark (book in Forgotten Realms p.105).

In each round of exposure to light, the rock double in size until it's sixteen times as large as it was when unlit (4 rounds).

1) So with these rocks, can the character create the cramped spaces to fight ?

2) Do the weight for the rock increase also with the size ?

3) What are the skills to know these rocks, and excavate it ? Knowledge (dungeonnering) ? Profession (miner) ? What is the DC ?

4) If the character want to hide another sort of rock in a natural stone or worked stone ? what is the skill ? Craft (stoneworking) ? What is the DC ?

5) Can the photogenerative rock permit to obtain a cover for the character ? What is the bonus to CA, bonus on Reflex save ? Can the character use cover to make a Hide check ? What is the bonus on Hide checks ?

6) are there a mean for the spiked chain to be a piercing weapon that is jabbed at the target as one size category smaller ?

Thanks for your future help.

1) yes
2) yes
3) they sound pretty obscure so prof(mining) or know(architecture) or a dwarfs stonecunning dc 25 sounds appropriate
4) dont know how you handle crafting here...
5) it can provide cover as normal; no bonus
6) no but i think there is a ebberon weapon called the scorpion chain that does something like that

The cavestalker has also Improved Exotic Combat Style :
_ treat the spiked chain as one size category smaller for the purpose of use in a cramped space.

So, the weapon used as if the character was in awkward space instead tight squeeze ?

The cavestalker has expert spelunker :
_ allows retain the Dexterity bonus.
_ lowers Escape Artist DCs, move penalties, and attack penalties by one category in cramped spaces.

So, in tight squeeze, the character must DC 15 Escape Artist to move 5ft or the character can move only 5 ft ?

penalty attack one-handed - 8 ?

With the feat tunnel fighting, the character don't have the - 4 penalty to AC and attack ? or one penalty only ?

Are there the penalty AC in Crawl-Navigable, Awkward, Tight squeeze space ?

What happens with the feats tunnel fighter, and tunnel runner in Crawl-Navigable, Awkward, Tight squeeze space ?

Are there a mean to use the spiked chain as a light weapon ?

Knifefighter or reaping mauler...both are good while grappling or tight spaces.
