12-28-07, 11:36 AM Well, despite its ASF, maximum dexterity and armor check penalty it doesn't actually say it counts as any kind of armor... I'd personally say the maximum dexterity and Armor check thing means it's similar to an armor, but by RaW it should work.

I would say if they went as far as to include that little part that a monk would not retain there WIS while wearing it. For all purposes they would be considered wearing light armor.
