| Pystian02-28-07, 12:22 PM | My understanding was that Ghost Touch doesn't really help at all against Ethereal creatures (except manifesting ghosts). I've double checked the Ghost Touch discription, maybe I'm just missing it. Why do Star Elves get a Ghost Touch based ability? Why is the Yuir Ghostblade a Ghost Touch weapon? Is there some way in which Ghost Touch would actually help the Star Elves fight Nilshai or Ethereal Marauders? |

| Empirate03-06-07, 10:41 AM | Basically, yes. Still, somebody somewhere had a nice idea there. Didn't think it through, though. Pity. :twitch: |
| Pystian03-09-07, 01:51 PM | I agree. It is a pretty cool idea. Is there some way we can still make it work? Do people think that allowing Star Elves to see what's happening on the Ethereal Plane for 30 or 60 feet and allowing their weapons to effect Ethereal creatures would be broken? Between sunset and sunrise, of course. This would replace their Ghost Touch ability. Allow the same for the Yuir Ghostblade? |
| Lord Karsus03-12-07, 04:35 PM | Why do Star Elves get a Ghost Touch based ability? -It's a bad way to reflect the special affinity that Star Elves have with dusk/twilight, and their own dual natures as being Faerūnian Elves, but albeit, Elves who have been so far removed from things that they are forgotten. Why is the Yuir Ghostblade a Ghost Touch weapon? Is there some way in which Ghost Touch would actually help the Star Elves fight Nilshai or Ethereal Marauders? -If you replace Ghost-Touch with "Ethereal Touch", it all works out. |
