| First_Legion09-17-07, 07:17 AM | I thought I read somewhere that this type of sword had a black blade and leaked shadows. It could go through any non-magical armor like butter. I may have been wrong because I can't find anything like this written down anywhere. Anyone seen anything like this? |
| TomCosta09-17-07, 01:56 PM | I believe you're referring to one of two types of blades, (a) the swords of the Shadovar of the City of Shade as seen in the Return or the Archmages series that details the return of Shade to the Realms and detailed in an old Dragon Magazine article on the characters from those books, or (b) Erevis Cale's sword from his five solo books by Paul Kemp, which Paul and I detailed on another board here: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=751216&page=2 |
